Sri Umesh Mishra Ranjeet Kumar Prakash College was established in 2022 with a vision to provide quality education to its students. SUMRKP College is well equipped with excellent infrastructure of permanent buildings with state of Art facilities (Laboratories, Lecture halls Seminar Halls, Instrtuments Unit, etc) with all required additional amenities as per the PCI norms.
SUMRKP College offers a 4 years bachelors degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) which teaches pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy as a part of regular course.
The college also offers 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) course Most prominent in the course involves hospital training and industrial visits, Seminars and Analytical workshops conducted by the college regularly to update the latest information of drugs and latest technologies across the globe.
The college is committed to generate technical manpower in the field of Pharmacy to handle the professional activities of dispensing of drugs by registered persons to meet the statutory requirements of section 42 of Pharmacy Act, 1948, in this state in particular and in the country in general besides aiming to cater the growing needs of health services, to serve the pharmaceutical industry in excellent manner, Drug Control Administration, and to update the Pharmacy profession in Education and Research and other allied arenas to meet the clarion call of health for all.
